I'm driving the boat I chartered to go to Kaze Island.  There is a ferry, but it goes to other little islands, never anywhere near Kaze Island.  The reason being because Kaze Island is surrounded by a fierce, truly never ending, gale barrier.  No one has ever been able to get past that gale barrier except the Warrior of White Light.  Hopefully I can still do that. Otherwise I was sunk, because my Power of Wind is there.

As I got close to the Island, something bizarre happened.  The boat started to speed up.  When it got really close to the gale barrier, I saw a place that wasn't blocked by wind.  I then rowed through the opening and landed on the Island.  I secured the boat and walked towards the middle of the Island.  I soon saw the Shrine.  The Shrine was encircled by fierce winds.  I then saw a pillar of stone.  I went over to it and heard the voice.

'If you are truly Ayren, place your hand on this stone.  Ayren's touch will clear the winds blocking the path to the Power of Wind.'

I put my hand on the stone.  It glowed a bright green and I looked back at the Shrine.  The winds had parted, revealing the entrance to the Shrine.

When I got into the Shrine, I saw high walls.  Some of them had huge circle openings.  I walked down the path and followed it straight.  Then, at the fork in the path which was a continuation of the path on the right and an alcove on the left, the tile depressed and a fierce wind blew from the right and blew me smack into the alcove.  I tried to push my way out of the alcove but it didn't work.  I had to find a way to stop that wind.  I looked around and saw a green, glowing button.  I pressed it and the wind stopped.  But then, 3 Dark Soldiers seemingly dropped from the ceiling and I had to kill them.  The maze continued in this fashion until I reached the next part of the Shrine.

In the next part, there were puzzles with rocks that I had to arrange to block the winds that blocked my path.  The rocks were heavy so I was really tired when I got to the third part of the Shrine.

The third part of the Shrine seemed like there was nothing there.  I walked forward and, on one of the tiles, it depressed and strange rocks that would bend the winds in different directions, popped up out of the ground.  Then, a single gale of wind started blowing.  I had to arrange the wind to hit this device that looked like a fan to open the door to the next section of the Shrine.

The next part was a combination of all the other puzzles put together.  By the time I got to the room with the Altar, I was seriously tired and my hair was a mess.  I took out a brush that I carried with me and brushed my hair into place.  I then walked into the room.  I saw the Altar that had a green shining sphere floating above it.  I went closer and one of the tiles of the floor depressed.  Then, four gales of wind started to blow.  The thing was, there were times when they stopped blowing.

I then heard the sound of huge flapping wings.  From the top of the room, a giant black hawk with a green Gem on its forehead descended down.  The hawk then spoke.

“I am the Hell Hawk, a Hell General of the Dark Army!” it yelled in Ancient Alternion.  “If you have made it here, you must be Ayren's reincarnation!”

“That's right!” I yelled in Ancient Alternion.  “I am Ayren, the Warrior of White Light!  I am here to reclaim my powers of Wind!”

“You shall die again Ayren!” the Hell Hawk yelled.

The battle that ensued was hard.  Not only could the Hell Hawk fly, but the four gales of wind were constantly pushing me over.  That kept me from being able to do my Earth spell Gravity Well which would drag the Hell Hawk to the ground.  All the while the Hell Hawk was raining down feathers that were razor sharp at me.  I was getting cuts everywhere and many were getting stuck in my body.  I was bleeding in many places.  But none of my other Earth spells would work as long as the Hell Hawk stayed in the air.  The same problem existed with my Earth weapon artes.  I tried to do my Fire and Lightning bow artes, but the wind would knock the arrows away.  The situation looked hopeless when time stopped and I heard the voice again.

'The tile in the very middle of the room will stop the wind!'

Time started up again.  I ran over to the tile in the very middle of the room, while dodging both the Hell Hawk's attacks and the gusts of wind.  I stood on the tile and it depressed.  The winds then stopped.  I then began to channel my Earth spell.

“Fall from eternity into the dark abyss!” I chanted.  “Gravity Well!”

The Hell Hawk was then encased in a large, glowing brown sphere.  The sphere dragged it onto the floor and was crushing it.  All the while I was casting another Earth spell.

“Let the ground beneath dance to my command!” I chanted.  “Roche Waltz!”

About five feet in front of where the Hell Hawk was being crushed, the ground opened up and a large boulder shot out.  The boulder then rolled forward then backwards.  When it rolled onto the Hell Hawk, its Gem was shattered and it dissolved.  It left behind some purple silk and a pile of coins.  I wobbled over, since my wounds were pretty bad, and picked it all up.  I could make a dress out of the silk later.  I walked up to the Altar.  Then I heard the voice.

'Take back the Power of Wind.'

The sphere then shone a bright flash of green light.  When the light faded, the sphere had turned into an emerald.  The emerald then floated to my neck.  There was a small flash of light.  When it faded, the emerald was beneath the sapphire in my necklace.  I was then surrounded by a sphere of green light and I remembered all the Wind spells and artes I had sealed here.  When the light faded, I found that all my wounds had disappeared.  Then, a circle of light appeared to the right of the Altar.  I stepped into it and found myself outside of the Shrine.  The winds that had surrounded the Shrine were gone.  I took out my map and determined that it would take five days to get to Mizun from Umiton.  I would have to stop there to find a way to get to the Shrine inside the Bottomless Lake.

I got back into my boat and sailed back to Umiton.  I then left the town and headed down the path to Mizun.  How was I going to get to the Shrine in the Bottomless Lake if it's deep underwater?  I'll have to find an answer in Mizun...
Phew, that took some time.  I already know the main ideas of the next chapter, I just have to put it together.  Tell me what you think.
